Diamond Elite's Options for Various Age Groups

Diamond Elite will focus primarily on coaching & fundamentals. Our role is simply to create an environment where your son or daughter improves at an advanced rate. In order to do this, we offer many options for athletes of various involvement and interest levels.

Builder Groups: Inexpensive camps for young girls & boys. Ages will vary from 8-12 years old. The majority of these camps will meet 1 day a week for approximately 4-8 weeks and there will be two sessions available at each site. Coaches will focus on building a strong fundamental base of passing, setting, serving, and hitting. "

Youth Teams: For ages 10 to 14, we also offer a higher level competition team. These teams will generally practice twice a week and their season will last throughout the winter & spring. Expect a convenient yet competitive playing schedule; Diamond Elite's youth teams will travel throughout the Chicagoland & Northwest Indiana regions competing against teams from other clubs. Both boys & girls may tryout for youth teams & there may be half season teams available at some age groups.

Club, Regional, or Local Teams: At Diamond Elite, we do not have club, regional, or local teams for our older players (15-18U). We do, however, have competitive travel teams that are geared for players that have time restraints, financial concerns, or conflicts due to participating in other activities. We have different levels for how convenient our travel is thus capturing the quality and competitiveness of a travel team and combining it with the convenience of a regional team.

Travel Teams: Diamond Elite will also have extremely competitive top-level travel teams that will play the most competitive schedule available. These teams will be smaller in number and will have multiple two or three day tournaments, so it is imperative that athletes who try out for these teams consider volleyball to be a priority in their schedule. The focus of the competitive schedule is not only to seek out competition, but also to supply an avenue for players to receive an optimal amount of collegiate exposure. These teams will also have opportunities to qualify for national events.
