2009 FUNDRAISING RESULTS
AND GENERAL INFORMATION
We at Diamond Elite feel that club volleyball is an opportunity to improve players’ skills so that they will have a more prominent role on their middle school or high school teams and will be able to realize their dream of playing volleyball in college. We feel that several girls from our club will receive financial assistance through playing volleyball once they get to college but understand that it is an investment to play club volleyball right now.
In order that money may be less of a concern as to whether our players can play for Diamond Elite, we have set up some fundraisers that will cut the cost down the cost of playing and can eliminate club fees in their entirety players’ put the effort into doing so.
Some fundraisers that we did during the 2008-09 season included:

2. Home Interiors (candles)
3. Sponsorship
4. Popcorn Palace

The total amount that was collected through fundraising this year was about $50,000. About $30,000 went to the players and about $200 went to Diamond Elite. The difference went to the cost of materials and goods sold in the fundraisers. Thirty-four (34) players received anywhere from 25%-100% of their club dues due to fundraising.
