Diamond Elite encourages all players to follow the checklist below to get started with the task of choosing your college.
1. All ages: Click on and follow the S.E.A. Development link
2. Only High School: After SEA is finished, answer the questions: Find target colleges
3. Mostly only sophomores, juniors, and seniors: It is decision time, either email Diamond Elite saying that you not interested in playing college ball OR Add your information to the Diamond Elite database
4. Freshman & Sophomores can stop here and ‘wait’ to be contacted by a college coach. A more aggressive approach is recommended for juniors and seniors: Anyone can proceed to step 5; however, this is a fair ‘pause’ step. If you are ready to proceed, then begin construction of your skills tape & finding recruiting assistance - link coming soon.
5. All Groups: Contact your high school coach to see is (s)he can be of any assistance and look through the DEVA friendly colleges page (link) for any colleges that have already contacted Diamond Elite.
6. Clearinghouse Information: If you are considering NCAA Div I and NCAA Div II schools, then you need to register for the Clearinghouse at some point. Please view the attachment for some assistance. Your high school coach or guidance counselor may be of more assistance.
